ABOUT
Bertha 

Bertha R. Santana is an associate attorney for the family division at Jarbath Pena Law Group. From a young age, her family always told her she would make a great attorney because of her strong sense of justice. After her family migrated from Cuba to the United States, she made the decision to pursue a career in law and continuously pursue justice.  

 

Before working at Jarbath Pena Law Group, P.A., she worked at Coast-to-Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Inc., where she would zealously represented victims of intimate partner violence in family law cases. In each family law case, she felt a sense of purpose in helping each individual family through the legal system. Her passion for helping victims of intimate partner violence does not just include in the practice of law. She is also the Vice President of the Broward Domestic Violence Council.  

 

With the support of her family and her own dedication, she received her Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. She is also an active member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. 

 

In her spare time, she enjoys painting and making crafts for her future Etsy page. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
